Emergency Medical Services Teacher

Desired Qualifications:
NYS Teacher Certification in EMS or willingness to obtain after appointment
Certified or eligible by the NYS Department of Health, as an Emergency Medical Services Certified Instructor Coordinator (CIC)
At least 1-year experience required based on certification pathway, but 4-5 years experience in Emergency Medical Services
preferred. Volunteer experience also acceptable.
Valid NYS DOH license for EMT-B, Paramedic or REMO
Demonstrate knowledge of the current National EMS Scope of Practice and National EMS Education Standards

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in Emergency Medical Services, Education, Health Science or related field from a regionally accredited
higher institution or higher.
Experience teaching pre-hospital emergency medical care

Salary:
$55,000-$65,000
